If you are anything like me. You wear only a couple pairs of jeans and ride your bike a lot and then 2 times a year the ass blows out of pants. I HATE getting rid of my jeans that fit me perfectly, and usually I can never find the same pair twice. The last thing I want to do is break in a new pair. And I am TERRIFIED to send my 2 favorite pairs of pants to India to that makeyourownjeans.com site to get them duplicated. So I just keep on patching them up. I thought I would show you how I do it. It proves to be the best way to patch jeans that keeps them sturdy and unholy.
1. Survey the damage

2. Tear up your favorite back jean skirt you made because you cant fit into it anymore. And you probably never will. And get a good size black patch from it.

3. Cut all the frayed parts off the rip so that you have flat line to sew with.

4. Pin the patch on the inside of the hole.

5. Sew it on duh! Use a zig zag stitch you will attach more of the patch to the hole and make it stronger so it wont rip as easy.

6. Underneith the sewn patch area, cut down the excess patch fabric.

7. Voila! Fixed pants. Not the prettiest patching, but damn it gets the job done!
Tada! No more ass-blown pants!
